Do you have trouble coping emotionally with your life, job, or relationships? Would you prefer a holistic approach to joy and wellness that encompasses body, mind, and spirit?
I am a mental health counselor accepting Hopkins EHP (Employee Health Plan) and Hopkins USFHP (United States Family Health Plan) who works with adults in the Hopkins community from a holistic viewpoint. I see clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, adult ADHD, life transitions, grief, and more.
My Mt. Washington and Owings Mills office locations are currently accepting new Hopkins EHP and USFHP clients.
This website has information about why I like Hopkins EHP and USFHP insurance plans, links to their plan information websites, links to more information about me on my main website, and directions from major Hopkins locations to my Mt. Washington Village office.
The best website for exploring more about my counseling approaches, services, and getting to know me is www.hygeiacounseling.com .
I also have a website specifically on handling depression and the approaches I use for that at www.baltimoredepressioncounseling.com .
Below are some commonly used links to major Hopkins EHP and USFHP web resources:
Hopkins EHP
Johns Hopkins Hospital and affiliates have an insurance program all their own just for students and employees with top-notch access to expert physicians and specialists all over the Baltimore area.
Lots of potential clients desire a holistic approach to counseling and therapy in old town Reisterstown, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City. Hopkins refers EHP members in these areas to their network therapists and Hopkins also has provider directories which make it simple to get help wherever you live or work for depression and sadness, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or whatever ails you.
Hopkins EHP does not require pre-authorizations for counseling. They offer mental health counselors a fair wage without bureaucratic stonewalling. This is valuable to clients as satisfied therapists provide for improved psychotherapy experiences.
The Hopkins Health Coach Program is FREE to adult EHP participants and develops specialized plans and phone consultations to help weight and nutrition, ending the smoking habit, maintaining physical shape, and reducing stress. This is an unusually holistic preventative avenue to wellness.
Hopkins USFHP (a TRICARE Prime Plan)
The US Family Health Plan (USFHP) is a TRICARE Prime plan created by the Department of Defense for complete health care benefits to active-duty uniformed service members, retirees, and military family members.
HealthLINK@Hopkins is an online system for Hopkins US Family Health Plan members which allows participants to stay current as to their claims and referrals, their benefits status, send and receive secure messages with customer service representatives, search for a doctors in the provider directory, and keep an electronic Personal Health Record (PHR).
Clients looking for mental health help and therapy services can see therapists with the prior referral of their primary care doctor who serves as a service coordinator. Clients are allowed several initial sessions before further authorization is needed, which permits problems and concerns to be addressed quickly.
Hopkins USFHP services current and former military service personnel and their families for Maryland as well as other nearby states. Specifically they serve Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Navy, and Public Health Service (PHS) personnel, retirees, and families.
Hopkins USFHP has several friendly features including monthly information briefings, health education classes, and even free health coaching!
I am very pleased to be able to serve people who has served our country through this quality health plan. Last I checked, current service members received free outpatient mental health sessions and retirees and family members paid a small copay to see me.
